SECDEF visits troops in Afghanistan

KANDAHAR AIR FIELD, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan – Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates speaks to more than 100 U.S. service members Dec. 11 on Kandahar Air Field, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The purpose of the event was to answer the questions of forward-deployed service members, address issues and inform them of upcoming equipment and policies that will benefit their mission.
